~ The Finishing Touches ~

Once upon a Harvest Moon I saw The Reaper in The Sky

In His Hand was a Mowing Blade, Toward Me He Did Draw Nigh.

I asked Him - then - Had He Come, To Thresh The Mowing Floor

He answered not but looked away, He had more Plans yet In Store.

I breathed a sigh of Quick Relief, To know He spared me of the pain

Of knowing what was still to come, Would follow The Latter Rain.

But then I asked just one more time, What do You have in mind

Will You rise up and give The Word, To the world You’ve been so kind.

Now, Is Come, My Last Appearing; Before All will be said and done

Don your robes and light your lamps; The Finishing Touches Are Almost Done!

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. therefore I know
my righteousness shall go before me; the glory of the LORD shall be my rereward.
