SO WHO CAN THE OTHER BE?

Could be a twin I once did know,  Is He Him who saw me grow?
Inner side who can it be?  Outer man - Can it be He?
To wish, to want, to hope, to dream,
to stop for a moment as if to wonder,
A wayward Son - The Adopted One, The One He knew no other,
A span of time - take up your place,
'scuse none but he comes after,
for in one day - the place you see, shall be so filled with laughter!
The tears be gone - remorse has died, all at once He will assume,
the role He takes in Him that wakes,
of such has this one's dreams,
and then he knew that it is time,
but then You said, Look and See!
the two that are together, for to conclude as if to say,
The Water Shall both Drink!

EPILOGUE

In just a moment - the twinklin' of an eye,
the two renditions were then reversed,
No More Dismay - a presence certain!
to trust - there's no more way,
the season old - He once for knew,
has then finally come to pass!

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. therefore I know
my righteousness shall go before me; the glory of the LORD shall be my rereward.
